- 4 cups of chopped raw mangoes
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil (you can switch it with mustard or any other)
- 2 tbsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 2 tbsp fennel seeds/saunf
- 1 tbsp of whole mustard seeds
- 1/2 tbsp of fenugreek seeds/methi seeds
- 5-6 tsp of salt
Procedure
1.In a bowl take 4 cups of chopped mangoes and keep it aside
2.In a grinding / spice jar add all the spices and salt
3.Grind all the spices and salt to a fine powder and add to the chopped raw mangoes
4. Mix everything together
5. Add 1/2 cup of room temperature oil and mix everything well. Keep stirring this once a day for about 3-4 days or till mangoes have softened.
6. After 3-4 days store in an air tight jar and refrigerate.
