Choco bar Ice Cream

Choco Bars are a classic summer treat of vanilla ice-cream surrounded by rich dark chocolate. It is one of the most common ways to enjoy ice-cream on a stick.This recipe will be very well appreciated by everyone, specially the kids! 
I dont need to say anything about the flavor combination, its absolutely perfect vanilla and chocolate.
This is an eggless recipe which does not require an ice-cream machine, or any fancy ingredients.
It is an easy recipe to follow with step by step pictures.

Once you make them at home, you will not buy from the store anymore, this recipe is that perfect!

Use this recipe to create your own take on vanilla ice-cream. I have covered them in dark chocolate, you can cover them in white chocolate too.

Notes


1. If you do not have condensed milk, use 1/4 cup powdered sugar dissolved in 1/2 cup milk and add it to the whipped cream.

2. Let the ice-cream set properly before rushing to take them out.

3. Do not dip the ice-cream into hot chocolate mixture, let the chocolate come to room temperature before dipping the ice-cream.

4. You can add any flavors of choice to create your own spin on this classic recipe.

5. You can add chopped nuts into the melter chocolate to create an extra crunch.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Set Time: Overnight ( 8-10 hours )


Ingredients for Vanilla Ice-Cream
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup - 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence

Ingredients for Chocolate Cover

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 3 tbsp of coconut oil





Procedure

1. In a bowl, take chilled cream and whip it for a few minutes ( till it becomes thick )




2. Add condensed milk and vanilla essence. Mix it all together.








3. Pour the ice-cream mixture into prepared molds(any mold you have) and let it set overnight in the freezer.






4. Prepare the chocolate cover a few minutes before dipping the icecream.


5. To prepare the chocolate cover, take chocolate chips in a small cup or glass, add coconut oil and microwave for about 30-40 seconds. Mix well and let it come to room temperature.





6. Take the ice cream out of the molds and dip it in prepared room temperature chocolate.







7. Let the chocolate covered ice-cream set in the freezer for a few hours and enjoy.
