Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Muffins ( Eggless )

A crispy, dome top filled with chocolate chips, moist and soft from inside, doesn't that sound like the perfect muffin ? I have always loved a good muffin with a warm cup of milk.Love eating the crispy tall top of the muffin. I really think the dome is what makes the muffin bakery style, however, without the correct recipe this is difficult to achieve at home bakes.
The top is indeed the favorite part of the muffin 😆 for everyone and in this recipe it is truly irresistable. 

These bakery style chocolate chip muffins are deliciously soft, moist with a crackling muffin top. They are loaded with chocolate chips. This is a very easy and straightforward recipe that will result in perfect bakery style muffins at home. You will never turn to another muffin recipe again.
Some tricks and tips to follow and you will always have perfect muffins( I have mentioned all of them in the recipe 🥰)

Notes

1. The batter should be thick for perfect muffin texture

2. Do not overmix the batter, it would result in hard muffins.

3. Baking at higher temperature for first few minutes would give perfect domes to muffins ( Make sure not to miss this step )

4. You can store these muffins in the refrigerator for 1 week.

5. To make it vegan, use oil instead of butter along with any plant based milk.

6. Fill the batter to edge of the muffin pan to get the tall muffins.



Dry Ingredients


1US cup =250ml

  • 1.5 cups flour

  • 1.5 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • Pinch of salt

Wet ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter

  • 1/4 cup oil

  • 1/2 cup milk + 1 tbsp vinegar

  • 1/2 cup cane sugar

  • 2 tsp vanilla essence

Other Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips ( more or less as you prefer )




Procedure

1.In a cup take room temperature milk, add vinegar and keep it aside



2. Sift all the dry ingredients and give it a mix.



3. Cream together softened butter, oil, and sugar.





4. Add the prepared milk-vinegar mix, along with Vanilla essence.



5. Gradually add dry ingredients into wet and make a batter. Add chocolate chips too. (Do not overmix)

The batter should be thick.





6. Pour batter into a lined muffin pan.



7. First bake at 425F / 220 C for 5 min then reduce temperature to 350F / 180C  and bake for about 15- 20 minutes or till the toothpick comes out clear.
