These chips bake up perfectly crispy and delicious every time 😋 Season them up as you like for a comforting homemade taste and feel.
I absolutely love them and I am equally sure you are going to love them too!!

Healthier version for the traditional fried banana chips.

Notes

1. Use coconut oil for extra flavor.

2. Cut them with knife if you prefer thicker chips. Baking time may increase in that.

3. Leave them in the switched off hot oven for a few extra min. This gives a better even crunch.

4. Store them in airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.

5. Similarly you can make baked apple chips and sweet potato chips too.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 small / 1 large raw banana

  • Salt for seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder (optional)

  • 2-3 tbsp oil ( vegetable oil / coconut oil / olive oil )

  • Pinch of turmeric (optional)

  • Chaat masala for sprinkling (optional )

  • Baking tray

  • Parchment paper

Procedure

1. Peel and slice raw bananas. If you do not have a slicer cut them in desired thickness using a sharp knife. ( I prefer thin )

2. Add oil, spices and mix gently to coat them evenly.

3. Spread over a parchment paper lined baking sheet making sure they don't overlap. ( It is not going to take long to do this )

4. Bake in a preheated 350F / 180C  oven for about 13-15 min. Keep an eye after 10 minutes.
Once they are done switch off the oven and let them sit in the warm oven for 3-5 min for even more crispiness.

5. Sprinkle some chaat masala and enjoy this guilt free delicious snack.
